Southend Airport reduces free drop-off, pick-up time

Southend Airport has reduced its free drop-off, pick-up period from 10 minutes to just 5 minutes to endure that the short-stay car park is only being used by people to drop off and pick up airport passengers, for which the free period is intended.

London Southend Airport Managing Director Alastair Welch commented, “We are the only London airport to offer a free period in our Short Stay Car Park for the convenience of our passengers. They are also pleased to discover that our car parking prices are still amongst the lowest of all the London airports.” 

Parking charges at London Southend Airport are:

• Short stay, 5mins = FREE 
• Short stay, 30mins-1hr = £4.50 
• Long stay, 24hrs = £10
