Belfast City Airport wins airport parking promo award

Belfast City Airport has won the Best Sales Campaign Award for the promotion of its airport parking at the Chartered Institute of Marketing Excellence Awards.

The airport used a mixture of outdoor advertising, e-zines, ad bikes, website banners and Facebook ads to increase its online airport parking bookings by 40%, demonstrating a 420% return on investment.

Katy Best, Commercial and Marketing Director at George Best Belfast City Airport said: “We are absolutely delighted to be honoured by our peers in the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

“I have the privilege of working with a very talented team at the airport and this celebrated award is in recognition of their innovative hard work that aims to place airport users at the centre of our operations.

 “Our online car parking system via our website is just one in a suite of products and services we will continue to pioneer to ensure we present the travelling public with a user friendly airport that exceeds the customers’ experience.”
