Tips for getting to Luton Airparks

Increasing problems with congestion are being reported in the Luton airport area, and the airport is advising passengers to make sure they arrive with ample time to spare before their flight.

The official recommendation is to arrive three hours before a long-haul flight, two hours before a European flight and 90 minutes before a domestic flight.

Directions to Airparks Luton

Some customers using sat nat to find Aiparks Luton have experienced problems with the postcode, and it is recommend that customers don't use a sat nav to find Airparks Luton – there are also two Grove Roads, one in Slip End and the other in Luton town centre.

Airparks Luton customers are advised to follow the directions below:

From the M1:

Leave the motorway at junction 10. At the motorway roundabout, follow signs to Luton airport. At the next roundabout - junction 10a - take the third exit onto the A1081 towards St Albans and Harpenden. Take the first right, Newlands Road, towards Slip End. Drive under the motorway and take the next left, the B4540 Church Road, which is signposted Slip End. At the main traffic lights in Slip End, turn right into Grove Road, then take the first left into the service road. Airparks is about 100 yards down the road on the right.

Follow signs to the arrivals area and reception.

Caution: There are currently roadworks on the M1 between junctions 6a and 12 and it is recommended that customers check the Highways Agency website before travel, and allow extra time for their journey

For customers still wishing to use a sat nav, enter Grove Road and the postcode, or Slip End and the postcode.

Airparks customers are advised to give themselves 40 minutes to park at Airparks and transfer to the airport - longer during the rush hour. However, there are currently roadworks on the M1 between junctions 6a and 12, so allow extra time for the journey to Airparks too.
