Watsons Ayr Park Glasgow Prestwick Airport - detail change

Any passenger flying out of Glasgow Prestwick Airport that has booked Watsons Ayr Park at Glasgow Prestwick Airport, arriving between 9 November 2010 and 31 March 2011, will be upgraded free of charge to the closer and more convenient Long Stay Car Park 3 at Glasgow Prestwick Airport.

The Long Stay Car Park 3 is within easy walking distance to the airport terminal.

The Long Stay Car Park 3 directions, arrival and departure procedures are detailed below:

Directions

From Glasgow and The North:
On the M77 follow the signs for Prestwick Airport. On reaching the Dutchouse Roundabout take the 3rd exit and continue to the Monktonhead Roundabout. Go straight through (2nd exit)You are now on the A79 continue and go straight through next roundabout. At the Airport roundabout take the 3rd exit. You have now arrived at Car Park 3.

From Ayr & The South:
On the A77 follow the signs for Prestwick Airport. On reaching the Dutchouse Roundabout take the 2nd exit and continue to the Monktonhead Roundabout. Go straight through (2nd exit)You are now on the A79 continue and go straight through next roundabout. At the Airport roundabout take the 3rd exit. You have now arrived at Car Park 3.

From West Coast:
On the A78 follow the signs for Prestwick Airport. On reaching the Monktonhead Roundabout take (4th exit this includes the small farm road) you are now on the A79 continue and go straight through next roundabout. At the Airport roundabout take the 3rd exit. You have now arrived at Car Park 3.

Arrival Procedure -

Head towards the barrier pull a ticket and park your vehicle. Keep your ticket safe as you will require it on your return. Proceed to the railway station and cross over the bridge to the terminal building.

Departure Procedure -

Proceed to Car Park Information - located at the Ticket Desk past the Check-In at the main entrance from the 15th - hand over ticket with Booking Reference and the member of staff on duty will validate it for you to exit. Head over the bridge to the railway station and proceed to car park. On exit put your ticket into the machine - arrow facing top and forward - and the barrier will lift.
