Heathrow T5 nightmare week

It’s been a nightmare week for Heathrow Airport's new Terminal 5, and the poor passengers trying to travel through it too.

There have been hundreds of cancellations – 53 alone today.

The baggage system failure has caused absolute chaos but, as the BBC reports, staff had difficulty getting into the building due to a shortage of allocated Heathrow airport parking for the staff. Overflow car parks had not opened and staff struggled to find parking and then had difficulty getting through security.
